JAMAICAN GINGER BEER Recipe...

INGREDIENTS:
1 lb of ginger root
3 cups sugar
2 quarts of water
3 ounces of lime juice


METHOD:
1.Wash the ginger root thoroughly to remove all dirt and sediment that may be stuck in crevices.

2.Grate the ginger with either a hand grater or a blender.

3.Boil the water and throw it on the ginger.

4.Cover and let it sit for 24 hours.

5.Strain the mixture through a sieve into your serving pitcher.

6.Add lime juice and sweeten to taste.

7.Chill well and serve.
