Asafa Wins Jamaican National Trials 100m Final 2011

Yes, We are getting ready for the World Championship and the 100 m is heating up.

Jamaica has a cadre of world class 100m sprinters, Blake, Mullings, Carter, and Bolt...but only four can represent the country at the world champs.



So if Asafa wants to be there, he definitely had to step up...and he did.

As you can see the race was relatively close...and slow, but Asafa managed to pull it off.

Hopefully he will continue to peak as the world championships get closer.

Without Tyson Gaye that race will not be the same, but it is still going to be a hummer.

Of course the one to beat is the "Bolt" himself.

...don't count out the other Jamaican guys, they will be there to make a statement.
