Bolt wins heat in 100 meters at worlds
DAEGU, South Korea — Usain Bolt won his 100 m heat at the world championship in a time of 10.10 seconds and will move on to the 100 m semi-finals.
Yohan Blake, Nesta Carter, and Michael Frater also won their heats and will move on to the semis as well.
Asafa Powell pulled out due to hamstring injury.
Bolt is looking repeat the feat his three-peat of three gold medals in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m at the event and delight the crowd in the process.
Bolt says a record is unlikely in the individual events, but is still expected to win in Sunday's final.
This year there is no Asafa Powell or Tyson Gay...the two top sprinters likely to upset Bolt in the 100 m.
