Cutting dreadlocks

My dreads are eleven (11) years young. Is there ever a time, or do you recommend cutting them? And if so, will the ends relock?
My g/f is getting "nervous" about their length; I am fine with letting them grow 4 eva! LOL

A:Ya mon! You can clip it to your desired length...as long as you are not cutting it all off. It won't be a problem...they will simply grow back...and the ends will stay locked.
