do women have to have dredloclks?

Q: Well you know they say that your not really a true ratsa if you haven't got dreads, does this go to women as well?
...cause I dont really understand, does women have to have dreds too for her to be seen as a proper rastafarain?

A: The answer is yes. Dreads go for both men and women. Remember it is one of the symbols. Thus far in my experience, every rasta woman that I know wear dreads.
