Q: What are the ages and grades for Jamaica vs America? Like America is PreK=4-5,K=5-6,1st grade=6-7,etc... How does Jamaica's go?

A: In Jamaica we have the following...
- Basic school: Ages 2 to 3
- Infant school: Ages 4 to 6
- Primary school: Ages 6 to 11 or 12; grades 1 to 6

- High School: Ages 11 or 12 to 16 or 17; grades 6 to 12 (or forms 1 to 5) and form 6 for the more advance high school students.

... and of course the next level up is University...
