Gift Etiquette

Q: When giving a gift what kind is common and what etiquette comes with giving the gift?

A: Conner, I am assuming you are talking about giving a gift in Jamaica...correct?

So be the case, the most common is money, clothes, shoes, cosmetics, food,..and so on. Just common everyday useful items.

The only etiquette I can think of that goes along with the giving is really some kinds words expressing the reason for giving the gift.
