Q: How Do You Make Dread Locks?

A: Here's one simple method...

Twisting
Advantages...
- It is all natural.
- You have control over the size of the dreads and how they form.

How to do it?
1. Sectioned into 1" to 2" squares.

2. Twist each section clockwise using a comb to snag the hair at the ends and twist.

3. As you twisted each section, work some wax (thick wax without petroleum) in to hold the twists.

4. As the dreads mature, use thinner waxes to add fragrance and sheen...use rubberbands at the roots and tips to hold the hair for the first couple of weeks...do not attach the rubberbands too tightly, nice and snug will do the job just fine without breaking any hairs.

5. Twist hair by hand regularly to help it lock up.
