Jamaica World Cup Qualifying 2014

socThe final round of the Jamaica world cup qualifying 2014 ended with a surprising result!

…a 0-0 tie at the Azteca! See highlights below…

No one expected this result! The Mexicans were expected to win by a “mile”…but it did not happen.

The Azteca is known to be the most intimidating place for any soccer team other than Mexicans to play in…and win…simply because of its high altitude.

…difficulty breathing, burning lungs, and heavy legs are just some of the difficulties players experience while playing there.

Today Jamaica overcame them all. There were no goals, so there is nothing much to really shout about, but there were moments when the Jamaicans came really close to scoring…and I mean really close. But what is all the fuss about? Let’s face the fact, Jamaica currently has a really good soccer team

They have recently recruited a number of players who ply their trade in the English League…and they are going to surprise quite a few teams on their way to the world cup next year.

So stay tuned, the Jamaica World Cup Qualifying 2014 journey has just begun.
