When I think about these Jamaican drinks "mi mouth water!"

Rum punch, sour sop, sorrel, ginger beer, Guiness "strong back" punch, and Irish moss? A wha nice so? Sorry for the language, but I just had to get that out...

Jamaican rum punch This is No.1 on the list...and my personal favorite. Of all the Jamaican drinks, this is the one you have to be careful with. It will knock you out cold!

The taste alone will fool you. You will think you are just enjoying a fruit drink...and before you know it, you are "out!" Trust me! This one is not for the faint of heart...so drink wisely click to make your own.

Sour Sop Drink
Jamaican sour sopAnother one of the best on the land! Sour sop will have you licking your chops and wanting more.

And the thing that make it even better it is its all natural. All you need is a simple little sour sop fruit...follow the directions and everything else fall right into place...follow this direction and you will be on your way to making one best kept secret among Jamaican drinks...

Jamaican Sorrel
Jamaican sorrel Hmmm! I want some right now! In Jamaican they drink this one mostly during Christmas...but you know what? Everyday is Christmas for me.

I can't wait 'til December all the time...I got to have it now!That's why wherever I can find Sorrel, I find it. when I want a little herbal remedy in the form of a refreshing drink, this is where I look.

Jamaican Ginger Beer
Jamaican ginger beerEverywhere I look, I see ginger beer! If I go to Kingston it is there! If I go to country it there too. When I go to foreign, I see it sitting on the shelf begging for mercy!

So it seem like everybody know "bout" it. That's good!

Well! let me see by a show of hands how many of you know "bout" home-made ginger beer? Yes...that one! The one without the carbonated water that come to rotten you bones!

That's what I thought! Not too many people know about it! That's O.K.

Here it is in all its glory, ...thirst quencher, healer, and nutrituous all wrapped up in one.

Guiness Stout
Guiness stout You know that for a long time, I did not know that Guiness was not made in Jamaica. Everywhere you look, you see it. I could've sworn it was made in Jamaica!

It is so popular, you might as well call it "Jamaican Guiness." Yes it has alcohol in it, but it is also very nutritious. Now tell me where else you can find that kind of combination! Not too many places!

It is so good that we Jamaicans have found a way to extract energetic benefits out of it...the "strong back" juice. If you are not familiar with that name you soon will. Try this and you're on your way drink but don't work too hard!

Irish Moss
Jamaican Irish mossIrish moss is our own little "energy" drink that we created on the island to deal with strenuous activities.

Does it work? Very good question! All I can say is it work for me...so if you want to know more a bout it, read on...

- Jamaican blue mountain coffee drink...delicious blend of blue mountain coffee, Jamaican white rum, coffee liqueur...plus...with a charming fragrance and rich smooth flavor designed to perk you up and relax you at the same time.

- Carrot Juice... another one of our favorite homemade Jamaican drinks that we drink on Sundays with our rice and peas and chicken.

Jamaican Fruit Punch
2 oz. Jamaican Strawberry Syrup
½ banana
1 slice pineapple
2 oz. orange juice
½ oz grapefruit juice
1 tbsp. grape juice
crushed ice
12 oz. water.

Directions
1. Mix all ingredients and blend
Dirty Banana
1 medium banana
1-1 1/2 oz. Tia Maria
table sugar to taste
milk or cream

Directions
1. Add ice & blend

1 oz. coconut rum
3/4 oz. creme de banana
1/2 oz. lime juice
1/2 oz. fruit juice
1 oz. pineapple juice
1 oz. grapefruit juice
1 oz.orange juice

Directions
1. Add ice & blend
Jamaica Delight
1 oz Gold Rum
1/4 oz Apricot Brandy
2 oz Pineapple Juice
1/4 oz Lime Juice
1/4 oz Clear Syrup

Directions
1. Mix and serve in Pilsner
