Twenty finalists were chosen for the Miss Jamaica World 2014 contest last Saturday following eliminations at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel in New Kingston.
The Final 20
Forty eight contestants made it through eliminations. The number was reduced to 30, and then the final 20.
They will compete for $15 million in cash and prizes. There are also nine scholarships to be won, along with nine sectional prizes up for grabs. This year, there are two new categories — Beauty in Business and Most Sociable.
Co-promoted by Laura Butler and Associates and Fusion Consulting Ltd, the finals of Miss Jamaica World will take place at the Montego Bay Convention Centre on July 12.
