Rasta Jacob’s Story

Rasta Jacob's story

Me and my Dog (I’m 14)

It started when I became curious by testing many religions and lifestyles. I tested many including Christianity islam and buddhism but now I’m a rasta and I like being a rasta. Now I’m working on growing my dreads and would like to have some advice on growing them such as how to dread with occasion hair or where to do it

First thing Hail-up I am Jamaica, you have to wash your hair if you don’t it will smell you don’t want to walk around with smelly hair, I have dreads since 1985 and I love it, your hair is very soft so you have to get someone to bees wax it for you and leave it for a week, then do it again until it stays together but first you have to grow your hair it is too short to do anything with. Your hair is a different texture so it will take longer it don’t grow overnight, don’t rush just take your time and groom it. The next thing if you want to eat ital. and learn how to cook it go on YouTube and put in Jamaica ital food and at the same time you could look up how to dread your hair everything is there even though is not the way we do things but this will give you an idea. Good luck on your first step to becoming a Natty Dread
