Should Tams Be Worn All The Time In This Reiligon?

Q: Can you answer me this question...When becoming a rastafarian and growing dreads, do yo need to wear a hat or tam all the time? Is this relgious???

A: No, you don't have to wear your tam all the time. Many prominent rastafarians don't. Sometimes you see them in a tam, other times you don't. There is no rule that says you have to wear it all the time and there is no rule that says you don't. So it is all up to you.

But! you do need to wear it from time to time because it is one of the trademark symbols of being a rastafarian.

Take a look at prominent rastafarians like Bob Marley at the bottom of this page, He has no tam on and he is "flashing" his locks...which is something rastafarians do from time to time.

You really can't flash it with the tam on. So let it fly sometimes or simply flow.
