Veronica Campbell-Brown Runs World Leading 10.86s In 100m

Veronica Campbell-Brown Runs World Leading 10.86s In 100m at the Star Athletics International Sprint Series meeting in Clermont, Central Florida today.

Though there was only five runners in the race and not much of a competition, Campbell-Brown ran against time…and signaled to the world that she is on the comeback.

After being left in no-mans land for 10-months battling her drug suspension, she came back to post this world leading time after just three races.

The next best time of 11:00 seconds posted by Samantha Henry-Robins back in April.

Meanwhile her compatriot Shelly-Ann finished last for the second consecutive time…first in the 200m and then in the 100m…makes us all wonder…what’s going on with Shelly.

I hope it just a minor slump.
