Yohan Blake Wins 100m at Diamond League In A Time of 9.82 seconds
Yohan Blake shows that he is "for real" when he won the 100m at the Diamond League, about two weeks after he became world champion.
He ran a personal best time of 9.82 seconds to shear of .07 seconds off his world championship time.
The 21-year-old Jamaican stumbled slightly out of the blocks and had no wind assistance on a still night, and was still able to run down early leader and fellow Jamaican start, Asafa Powell.
Powell is still recovering from an injury. This win ranks him seventh on the all-time list of world-class sprinters.
